[SOLVED] Windows 10, version 21H2 sfc/dism/windows update/windows in place install not working

dism/sfc gives these errors

C:\windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.

i tried the steps from Redirecting
tried the manual install of 22h2 via the update assistant
and a in place reinstall of windows 10 using the media creation tool both upgrade and from the create iso options (it gets stuck at updating 20%)from
Download Windows 10
scanned with malwarebytes(came up clean)
tweaking.com's windows aio repair

i guess there was something wrong with running it from my desktop i made a new folder on my c:\ and ran it from there and it actually generated the log

yay it worked but should i be worried that it bluescreened 4 times while windows updater was installing the update (before the required restart) with this same error 1669539811491.jpeg

hm its been frozen on

for the past 8 or so mins it did generate a frst.txt. should i force close it or just wait longer?

Please wait, sometimes the scan may take a while I've seen systems where the scan takes more than 30 minutes.
