I am finding when I look at Windows Services and I try to make changes or tap apply I get "The parameter is incorrect." Only with names labeled with a number of "_53457". I have quite a few with this number listed after the name of the file.

I have done a SFC /Scannow and DISM and shows no corruption.

Please advise,

The fact that it has a description tells me it's a Windows service and not 3rd party. I could be wrong though. Have you tried opening services in SafeMode then make changes there?

Thank you for responding xrobwx71,

I'm in SafeMode now as I'm doing a clean boot to see if that will fix System Restore issues and I'll check the Windows "Services" while I'm in there.

Hi Britechguy,
Thank you for the assistance.
That will be my next move I guess.

You're quite welcome. Please report back on the results.

I believe my Services are working again after the clean boot I just did. I will let you all know if I follow your advice for the Recovery or Clean install. I really don't want to perform that today... anyways.
