Hello,

Like everyone else I've attempted to load Windows 10 many times now. Before my last attempt I ran FSCFix which cleared all of my system file errors. I thought this one's going to work. Wrong, this is the error I'm getting:

File:\windows\System32\drivers\jraid.sys Error code: 0xc000035a

I've googled this and if I understand this correctly my Gigabyte mother board has a JMicron chip on it that runs the raid 5 system I'm using. My guess is the driver for this chip is working in 7 but maybe not working in 10. That's my best guess anyway. I'm not computer savvy enough to figure this out. Help!

Hey, downloaded the driver and ran it. No problems. Then finally found time to try W 10 upgrade again. Success, liking 10 so far. Thanks much. Just curious is this something I could have found on my own or did you have to get this internally?

It is something you could find yourself with a bit of digging, but you do have to know where to start looking.
Gigabyte didn't have a Windows 8.1 compatible driver listed in their downloads section for that motherboard, but I got the chip model from Gigabyte's raid driver description and looked it up on jmicron's website.

I'm glad they continued to make newer drivers :)
