Windows Information

Windows 10 Pro
Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.2155)

Steps I have taken

• While attempting to upgrade from 1607 to 1709 using the iso (Win10_1709_English_x64.iso) the upgrade got stuck on "Making sure you're ready to install" for hours. Thought perhaps I needed to run windows update first, so I ran that and installed a few updates but got stuck installing .NET framework update.

• I then went and downloaded the offline installer for the .NET framework update and that gave a "Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)".

• Figured something was corrupted so went and ran "sfc /scannow" and got "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.".

• Ran SFCFix as per the instructions on this forum and got "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." during the DISM scan.

Any help would be appreciated!

2. Please copy this file to your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
