While searching what caused my windows 10 update failure I found this forum and many issues had been solved with help.
When trying to update my Windows 10 from 1909 to 2004, I have an update failure every time to 93% or 94% with the same error code: 0x800700c1
After some trouble shooting, the sfc scan result showed "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."
After running SFCFix by niemiro, the result showed
"Something has gone horribly wrong and SFCFix has crashed. Would you like SFCFix
to submit a crash report to the developer so that this problem can be fixed?"
And SFCFix log was as attached.
SURT/DISM Scan log was also attached.
