Hello.

I had problem with system updates. I had Windows 10 1803 17134.48
I was find very simular problem topic here: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/25329-lots-of-problems-updating-windows-10-a.html
But i think we had different error reasons and i can`t use enemies solution.

Now i have 2 errors
1.SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd. - USB - 5/15/2017 12:00:00 AM - 2.12.5.0 — error 0x800706be
2. ... (KB4343909) — error 0x800706ba

I have cleared the Software Distribution file, and other tricks that I have read about in support forums.
I have tried to refresh the OS in a number of ways, but always fail.

sfc /scannow - Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth - stopped at 9.5%, error 4448 The WOF driver encountered a corruption in the compressed file's resource table
C:\windows\logs\DISM\dism.log

I ran: SFCFix.exe - the program ran far longer than expected, and stopped at DISM, 9.5%, making no further progress. I eventually terminated after approx 2 hours.

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try installing the update just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log

Dropbox - Logfile.zip

I was follow your steps and when i saved Logfile.PML the size was 5Gb and after archive 300Mb so i attach dropbox link. I just start Process Monitor then go settings, go update center, click retry and wait for error and instantly stop logging and save file.

I don`t really know why it so big. I run Process Monitor as an administrator and it ran with no error instead *.msc APPS like services.msc which not starting from Start and also from Control Panel, only warning message “An administrator has blocked you from running this app.”.

But i saw RESULTS with ACCESS DENIED status, so maybe my system have permission problems?

I'm afraid your SSD is going bad. Urgently backup your data and replace the drive.

I was backup my SSD to times with Acronis True Image. First time usually image and than a sector by sector backup is the same *.tib backup file. And i have`t error both was successful. How can you be sure of that SSD dead? i mean Relocated Event Counter only signal that was try to Remap bad sectors. But Relocated Sector Couter seems healty. If i replace SSD and then clone system from old it will be working? Or i will need to reinstall my OS?

The backup process need not fail necessarily. The fact that the drive has bad sectors is enough for me. Something had to be remapped, when that happens, I no longer trust the drive.

I would recommend a fresh install.

Okay, thank you much, for answer to my question and help.
