SFC fails to repair

I still can't windows update, I'll try a reboot this Saturday and see if anything changes.

Hi,

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

I ran the DISM /restorehealth and no further errors reported! I'll try a reboot soon and see if Windows Updates work once again.

After reboot, Windows says no updates pending, it looks like a Cumulative Update installed too, great.

You're welcome. The latest Cumulative Update was (KB5025221 - 19045.2846 / April 2023). So if everything is up-to-date we can mark this thread as solved...
