Well, I've been battling with Windows Update the past couple of months. No Restore options and Repair installs fail. I've run SFCFix and other Windows Update .bat files to try to get updates going again (along with the built-in Windows Update troubleshooter). I've tried SFC commands and DISM commands which show that the component store is repairable, but then no repairs take place with Restorehealth command. Before I wipe it all and start from scratch, in my many searches for solutions, I've seen that many people can get assistance in this extremely helpful forum by knowledgeable professionals donating their time and expertise. So here goes my last hope! If anyone can assist, I will be very grateful.

My CBS log is attached as per the forum instructions. Please let me know if you need any further information.

Just to provide some more info, I re-ran SFCFix and got this message (SFCFix.txt attached below):

Attempting repair . . .
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3

Due to the nature of your corruptions, scan times have been extended by
approximately 15-20 minutes. Please be patient and allow the operation to
complete.

The source files could not be found.
Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see Configure a Windows Repair Source.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Not sure why, but despite saying the "nature of your corruptions" would take some time, the SFCFix.txt Autoanalyis Summary entry says there are no corruptions?
