When I try to update Windows 7 to Windows 10 through Windows Update it gives me this error code: 800703f1

Please help!

Please attach C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
If it is too large to attach, copy it to your desktop, then right click and choose Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder and attach the zip instead.
If it is still too large, upload CBS.zip to a file sharing service such as OneDrive, DropBox, SendSpace, etc. and include the link with your reply.

Looks like I need some of the older log files.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

 1. [sfcfixdownload]Download SFCFix[/sfcfixdownload] (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
 2. Download the attached file, SFCFixScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFixScript.txt - do not rename it.
 3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
 4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFixScript.txt.
 5. Drag the file SFCFixScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
 6. SFCFix will now process the script.
 7. Upon completion, a log should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
 8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

From what I am reading in the logs, it looks like it has something to do with your boot configuration.
Are you booting multiple operating systems or using a custom boot loader?

Does this help ? Could it be trying to install on the 39mb partition?:banghead:

I don't think it would try to do that :)

There have been some problems with the boot configuration on OEM machines with recovery partitions, I'm not sure if that is the case with yours.

Do you have another machine with internet access? I'd like you to try rebuilding the boot configuration, but we will need a way to communicate to undo changes if something doesn't work.
