Windows 10 DPC spikes every ~3 minutes | ACPI.sys

My system is generally very fast and stable. DPC latency is usually in the 20-50μs range. So it *generally* works great for audio production.

Recently, I've noticed that, about once every 3 minutes or so, I will get an interrupt to DPC latency around 3000μs. It is almost always attributed to ACPI.sys.

I've tried all the usual fixes (ensuring no throttling, power settings, cleaning the system, checking for Windows integrity violations, etc.) and finally decided to ask for help because none of the usual solutions has worked. Even turning off most all running software (Trend Micro, browsers, etc.) and disabling WiFi, etc. I still have the spike every 3 minutes. I ran a trace.etl during the time when one of the every-3-minutes spikes occurred, and I've also got DxDiag, MSinfo and Speccy reports. They're all available here:

I thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi systraducer,

:welcome: to Sysnative.

The trace log didn't contain any information (literally), could you run WPA again but this time a little longer.

Also, (off-topic) you have a lot of programs. Do you need all those programs?

PS, sorry for the delay. I thought I had posted here already.

Axe0,

Thank you for your swift response and your kind welcome! Very nice!

Sorry for the faulty trace. Here's a new .zip archive with a new trace:

Re: all those programs - Yes, I do need all those programs. Nothing on the system is arbitrary or superfluous.

Again, thank you!
