Hello all!
I came across this forum while searching for a solution to my problem: I recently bought a new computer with Windows 10. After that, I bought a new sound interface called PreSonus Audiobox iTwo.
I connected it through USB, installed all drivers and download the latest firmware to the unit itself. However, when I connected it to my speakers, I noticed a lot of cracking noises. After googling and finding out about the excellent program LatencyMon, I installed it and run it and got these as a result:
Obviously not good! nidys.sys seems to be at fault here, which is my network card. My network card is a ASUS PCE-N15 wireless card. I connect it to my router, which is an Apple Airport Express (yeah, I used to have a Mac). When I disable the network card, LatencyMon display these results:
So I guess I found the culprit! However, I have no idea what to do at this point. Here is what I have done that haven't solved the problem:
- I installed the latest drivers of the ASUS network card from their website
- I installed the AirPort Windows program from Apple's website
- I ran a Windows Update
I'm not sure what to do at this point. Anyone have any idea what to do now? I would really appreciate any help!
