Hi,
I am having a very big problem with my computer after its been automatically updated to window 10 from window 7.
I can't find any of my desktop icon anymore and the start button won't open. I will click the window icon at the bottom left but nothing seems to be loading.
When I refresh the desktop, I get an error as attached.
I did manage to find my original at C:\Users\(My computer name)\Desktop but it seems like I am not logged into that user?
Some of the application when opening will show "The Stub received bad data". Generally the computer is in an unusable state!
I followed some help page via google and landed at here.
I ran the sfc /scannow command via powershell (See attached for log) and tried running DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth , its stuck at 40%, planning to leave it run overnight.
Really appreciate any advice or help. Thanks in advance.
