Hi all:
I have this problem as described below:

Dear Customer,

So you have booted your PC from the created USB successfully?

If there is problem booting your computer, you should choose Windows Rescue tab in Boot Genius. If you are not sure which one to select, you can go to "Solution Center" to select the best solution to fix crash issues according to your crashing symptoms. Well, if you can troubleshoot your computer and know the causes of issue, directly go to "Function Center" to choose the corresponding tools to fix the problem: "Boot File Recovery", "MBR Recovery", "Boot Sector Recovery", "Registry Recovery", and "Registry Editor".

If I misunderstand your question, please tell me what is the issue with your computer, and which option you chose in Boot Genius, and what is the result?

Thanks,

Teresa

Subject: BOOT WITH BLACK SCREEN

Dear Tech Support:

I write to say I have been the proud recipient of BootGenius 3.0.0.1
from Giveaway Radar Site.

My boot problem:

1. PC Turns on and loads with Windows 7x64 Autologon enabled, about
5sec. boot screen shows no 'welcome'.
2. After 'welcome' white cursor shows 10sec Taskbar shows - no
background picture 10sec.

3. Background picture shows and generic icons begin to fill in.

4. Notification Area (by clock, lower right) fills in too.

Thanks for a reply.

Sincerely, Donald

I honestly don't understand what it is you're trying to do or what your system problem is.

My PC has these problem as you read them and I consider this a 'Booting Glitch' for the OS...this is my problem.
Fix the above.

Still not sure of the problem.

Please tell us your hardware specs.

Have you scanned for malware?

Why are you booting from a USB disk?

Hi:

Scanned for Malware?

Still not sure of the problem.

Please tell us your hardware specs.
See: DonB-PCNEWSystemInfo.txt for System Specs. Might be my GPU [Nvidia GT-610 going bad?

Have you scanned for malware? Yes

Why are you booting from a USB disk? Because I can if needed. I boot from a 1TB WD Caviar Black

SFC: OK

We'll be glad to try and help if we knew what your system problem was.

I don't understand the emails in post #1.

Hello, jcgriff2:
The first post concerns Tech Support from Tenorshare Software Official Website - iOS Data Recovery, Data Rescue, PDF and Video Tool and Boot Genius, a program to fix Boot issues of Windows and me describing the symptoms of what I see during a Boot up of my PC under Win7 x64:

1. PC Turns on and loads with Windows 7x64 Auto-logon (no username or password needed) enabled, about
5sec. boot screen shows no 'welcome'. (White 'Welcome' with green spinning circle
2. 'welcome' shows after 5sec. then screen goes to black with white cursor, which shows 10sec. Then
3. Taskbar shows - no background theme picture. Duration: 10sec.
4. Then Background picture shows and desktop icons begin to fill in.
5. Notification Area (by clock, lower right) fills in too.

You're welcome.

Thank you for your detailed accounting of the process.

After all steps have completed, are you able to use the system?

I'm sorry, but I still don't quite understand what the problem is if you're left with a full Desktop, wallpaper, icons, taskbar and notification area after the above steps have completed.

The only part that sounds a little ominous to me is the black screen/white curser, but there is a period of time during boot-up where this is normal. The rest of the times you give can be rather normal depending on the system.

In other words, please help me to understand what you think is abnormal within those steps.

Regards. . .
