Hi friends.

I have installed new os win 7 ultimate before 2 days only, but system is taking so much time to load windows
I have run a sfc/scannow in cmd and it had shown the result like this:
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
After that i have run the sfcFix.exe it has given the result in a text document in notepad i attached that document or else you can see the result:

Re: corrupted windows files

Hi there!

I'd like to check your disk's SMART stats.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the content of the GSmartControl .zip archive and execute gsmartcontrol.exe; To extract you can right-click your mouse on the GSmartControl.zip file and select Extract.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, copy and paste their name in your next reply (or take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply);

Re: corrupted windows files

Looks like your disk may have a problem. Please back up any important data before continuing.

This will run checkdisk in surface scan mode and should force the disk to reevaluate the pending sectors.
***If the disk has mechanical problems, this may cause failure and data loss.***

This check will take a long time to complete, it may be best to let it run overnight.

chkdsk /r

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
    button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    chkdsk /r

  4. Reboot
  5. Download ListChkdskResult.exe (by SleepyDude) from the link below:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12354842/My Tools/ListChkdskResult.exe
  6. Double click on it to run it. It will take a few seconds to scan, then it will open a Notepad window with the log. Copy and paste the contents of this into your next post please!

Code:

CHKDSK discovered free space marked as allocated in the volume bitmap.
Windows has made corrections to the file system.

  99636223 KB total disk space.
  32326052 KB in 102021 files.
     79584 KB in 22820 indexes.
       160 KB in bad sectors.
    251167 KB in use by the system.
     65536 KB occupied by the log file.
  66979260 KB available on disk.

That's what I expected. Please run the SMART check again and post the results:

Re: corrupted windows files

Looks like the wrong text file was attached. Please run GSMARTCtrl and the extended self test again, then copy and paste the results from the program into your reply.

Re: corrupted windows files

Looks like the pending sector count has gone from 55 to 61.

Download SeaTools for DOS here: SeaTools for DOS |
Seagate

Once the ISO has been downloaded, either burn a CD from the image or use a utility like Rufus (Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way) to create a bootable USB stick with the ISO.

Boot your laptop from the CD or USB and then choose the Long Test from the testing menu. This will take a very long time to complete.
Once it does, choose the option to repair bad sectors (if offered).
