Hello all,
This machine has been taking all updates fine up until April when all other updates downloaded and installed fine except
for KB4015549(April, 2017 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems).I ignored it and waited until the
release of the May rollup. Again all the other updates downloaded and installed fine expect for the the May rollup (KB4019264).
It downloads but every time it tries to install it shows "Creating restore point" and it comes back as failed with error 0x800736B3 after 1 minute or so.
Things I've tried:
•Manually downloading and installing the update: Failed
•sfc /scannow: "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
•Windows Update Troubleshooting Tool: Ran with no errors but didn't fix the problem.
•Windows Update Readiness Tool (KB947821): Ran fine. But error persisted when trying to update the rollup package.
•Windows Update Diagnostic Tool (FixIt - WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab):Shows "Windows update error 0x80070490(2017-05-14-T01_41_57P)" NOT FIXED
•FRST64: see attached zip
