I am experiencing difficulties installing both of these updates. receiving error 80073701
What I've tried so far:
Running various Microsoft Fix-Its relating to Windows update (updating to the latest Windows Update client, resetting Windows Update).
Renaming the Software Distribution and catroot2 folders after stopping the Windows Update, Bits, and Cryptography services.
Manually downloading and attempting to install the relevant updates.
All other updates install successfully, its only these two which cause the issue. I've managed to get KB4019263 installed so I'm at least protected against Wannacry, but these updates are still continually offered.
I' ran SFCFix with the following output:

SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro.
Start time: 2017-05-20 18:09:07.458
Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 - amd64
Not using a script file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It appears the link to download the script to upload large files is broken at present, and my cbs logs are too big to upload to the forum, so they are available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1q79x85ben0ddc/cbs.zip?dl=1

I ended up solving this on my own.
I found an article that told me how to interpret sxs assembly missing errors from cbs.log, did some further digging into mine and found that KB4015549 was the cause.
I uninstalled that, then install kb4019264 which replaces it, and the install succeeded. I was also able to install kb4019265. All is well again in update land.

Hi,
I have similar problem and I have also tried to similar method for fixing it. but failed. Could you please tell me more detail how to find the cause. Thanks.

Hi,
The fix in my case is specifically for error code 80073701, if you are receiving any other error code, even if its only a slightly different number, you should proceed to start your own thread and initially post the results of running SFCFix, and your cbs and system update readiness tool logs for further diagnosis.
For error code 80073701, you need to browse your cbs.log file, which is located in c:\windows\logs\cbs.
You should search for ERROR_SXS_ASSEMBLY_MISSING
This will give you one (or more depending on how bad a state your system is in), log lines with multiple parameters.
You're looking for the rid=parameter, part of which should show you which kb installation is causing the problem.
Start by uninstalling that kb (go to control panel, programs and features, update history, and enter kb####### into the search box using the number from the previous step.
After the uninstall completes, try running Windows update again, and completing all outstanding updates. If the update you had to uninstall is still applicable, (e.g it hasn't been replaced by a newer update as sometimes happens with cumulative updates) you can reinstall it from Windows Update or the Microsoft update catalog once the rest of your updates are installed.
