Hello,

As many users before me, i also have a problem with updating windows. I have run SFC/scannow (no integrity problems found) and also the sfcfix of sysnative. Also I have followed the instructions of microsoft on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058. At last i tried manualy to download and install the Windows Update Agent from microsoft website. Again it gave the error code 800F0900.
I hope some one can help...

Here is the sfcfix.txt content:

Meanwhile i have installed windows again via an iso windows file (i have only an oem-version on the laptop); now windows update gets stuck in "searching for updates...."" . And one time, about 3 days of running the laptop, i get the following error code: 80072EFE. I thought maybe now it has to do with activation of Windows. I have tried to do that but unfortunately my productkeycode on the laptop has erased by erision/friction (on the bottom of the laptop). So i have download a utility to get my productkeycode. Unfortunateley microsoft website gives the message that de key code is only a standard code.... Maybe i will call microsoft helpdesk for help. I hope that they can afford me a new code because my Windows 7 is completely legal. We will see....
