On Aug 6th, Mr. Darb solved an issue with 6 corrupted files reported by CheckSUR.log (all related to KB updates). Today SUR tool pointed out one of the issues is back (KB3092601) and also a name mismatch for KB3135983 (see CheckSUR.log attached).
After Mr. Darb solved the issues on Aug 6th, I ran CCleaner to remove browsers cache and clean Windows Logs, but not removing registry entries, and updated ZD Soft´s Screen Recording program.

Please find attached the CBS.log and SFC.txt.

I have tried to upload folder CBS.zip as informed in forum´s posting directions, but sysnative system informed I have no access to that asset.

Thank you.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative. Sorry for the delay. Are you still in need of assistance?

Hello, again, Mr. Drab. Yes, I still need help with this issue, and I apologize for the typo error when typing your name in this thread.
Just as an additional piece of information, since the thread was posted, I replaced the PC (desktop) motherboard and processor, and ran SFCFix and SURT again, with no change in both reports (CheckSUR.log and SFCFix.txt). To replace motherboard without reinstalling Windows 7, I used Sysprep.exe utility (C:>System32\Sysprep\Sysprep.exe).

Re: CheckSUR previously solved issue partially back (Windows 7 Home Premium - 32bit)

No problem. Please start with the following.

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

Run the SURT tool again and provide the CheckSUR.log. Thanks.

Re: CheckSUR previously solved issue partially back (Windows 7 Home Premium - 32bit)

Hi Brian.

Attached please find the CheckSUR.log.
Besides it, I have also included CBS.log because SURT has created a new one that shows 2 items identified as Error for "Failed to internally open package. [HRESULT = 0x800f0818 - CBS_E_IDENTITY_MISMATCH]" (Previous CBS.log had 5 of those). Not a clue of what it means, and if action is required for those 2 entries and others whose description start with "Failed".

Thanks a lot.

Re: CheckSUR previously solved issue partially back (Windows 7 Home Premium - 32bit)

Please do the following.

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt
  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Re: CheckSUR previously solved issue partially back (Windows 7 Home Premium - 32bit)

Hi Brian,

Once the cbs.log file was too big (2.29MB) I have zipped it.
Hope it is adequate for sysnative forums system.

Do you need CBS.log too?

Nope. You are good to go. Any other issues?

Re: CheckSUR previously solved issue partially back (Windows 7 Home Premium - 32bit)

No, Brian. None that I am aware of.
Beginning of September, I intend to make a small donation to Sysnative. Lets see how my local Mastercard and the bank deal with it.

Thanks a Zillion.
