[SOLVED] [Win7SP1 x64] WU rollback: Error 0x80004005 with KB4015549

Dear guys,

thanks that you do this such great work (what I've seen until now in the forum)!

Currently I have a Windows 7 64bit computer, which doesn't want to install KB4015549. After restart the update is trying to install, but then it rolls back. Inside EventViewer i found out the error code 0x80004005.

I googled a lot and tried:
- manual installation of the update
- sfc /scannow (error were found, but couldn't get repaired).
- deleted update cache and tried to reinstall again

Then I found this forum and perhaps you can help me?

Currently im running SFCFix and i will attach it here together with CBS. Is that the right way?

Thread can be closed. I found a solutin.

We did replace C:\Windows\Boot\PCAT with an good PCAT folder from another Win7 machine. Before that we had to set Owner and Fullrights on that folder for Administrator.
