[SOLVED] [Win7SP1 x64] WU fails at installing security update microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1

Keep getting an error, 800B0100 when I go to install a security update on windows 7 for .net framework 3.5.1 KB3097989.

Ran the SFCFix.exe and the following log was created:

Had the Check SUR run overnight last night at it came back with this.

Was able to get the repair files that were above from a working PC and copy them to the SUR Dir (%windir%\Temp\CheckSUR\winsxs\Manifests). Ran SUR again. Once completed ran updates again and it installed correctly. Was able to figure all this out through various posts on your website and the following Advanced guidelines for diagnosing and fixing servicing corruption
