[Win7SP1 x64] Win10 failed to install

Hi all,

I am new to this forum but have been looking through some threads as I am having trouble upgrading my Windows 7 to Windows 10 via the media creation tool.

The installation gets to 33% then crashes back to desktop telling me it has failed. I have browsed hundreds of websites looking for answers, but to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Make sure that all of your Windows 7 files are in order.

EDIT: While you're waiting, test your HDD with SeaTools for DOS - Hard Drive (HDD) Diagnostics + SSD Test

Does anybody have any other advice? I have paid for this Windows 10 Licence and at the moment I am down £150.00
