quick update, I have BSOD three times in 45mins.

We'll look at the BSOD shortly. Please do the following.

Please boot your machine into a Clean Boot state following the instructions at the following link.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

Then proceed with the instructions below.

Step#1 - System Update Readiness Tool (SUR)

2. When it asks you if you wish to install, please answer yes. Note: It could take 15 minutes or more to run. Please don't cancel.
3. You will get an Installation Complete screen when it's done running.
4. Please attach the log from the following location. C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
Please Note:: if the file is too big to upload to your next post please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Please do the following.

Retrieve Components Hive
1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
2. Please copy this file to your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
4. The file will likely be too large to upload here so please upload to SendSpace and just provide the link here.

Please also do the following.

  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please
  9. In addition a file will be created on your desktop named EvtLogs.zip. As this file will likely be too large to attach to your reply, please upload this file to a file sharing/hosting site such as SendSpace, Dropbox or Onedrive and provide the link in your next reply.

yes. I've removed and replaced drivers to double check that. Normally this machine is stable for months on end without even reboots. Then was getting MSSE errors and the windows update errors. I've scanned the memory, which is less than six months old, the OS drive is SSD which is also less than 9 months old.
