Hello, I am having an issue where I can not run any games that use the Unreal Engine 4. All other games work perfectly.
I think it might have something to do with DirectX and have been trying to fix this on and off for months.

I have 400 hours into the game Ark: Survival Evolved which runs on Unreal 4, and was able to play it a long while ago but after a certain update to windows I have been unable to run anything with Unreal 4.

My friend and I have spent countless hours going through google searches to find what exactly is wrong and have not come to a useful solution.
I just recently read how to look over the CBS log and saw I have quite a few corrupted things that are unable to be repaired with sfc /scannow
I am unsure what to do and I do not have a Windows 7 disc available to me.

Thanks in advance for any insight into this issue.

I also have my SFCfix text document I am attaching to this post as well.

I will also hopefully be upgrading to Windows 10 in the very near future since there are VR features that can not work on WIndows 7.
Perhaps upgrading to Win10 will solve this issue as well?

Hi and welcome to Sysnative. Sorry for the delay. Are you still in need of assistance?

Hello BrianDrab, I had to create a second forum account because I lost my password and the recover password page would not load for me.

As for my computer problem I am still experiencing this issue.
I am still planning on upgrading to Windows 10 when my SSD comes in the Mail, I think doing so will solve my problems, unless there is something deeper than simply having bad dll files in my system32.
I have Malwarebytes (Premium) and do regular scans of my computer and it reports me as being clean.

Continue with your plan of Windows 10 on your SSD. If you have issues, you can always come back to this thread and let me know and then we can take a look.
