Re: BSOD on my laptop (Win7x64)
hi !
thanks a lot for your support!

i'm currently running "Kaspersky Internet Security 2017" on this laptop. Few days ago i uninstalled
"F-secure internet security 2017" using the uninstaller tool for F-Secure IS 2017. I found this uninstallation
tool at bleepingcomputer.com:
F-Secure Uninstallation Tool Download
I performed the following steps to (clean) uninstall F-Secure:
a) i uninstalled F-Secure via: Control Panel --> uninstall programs.
b) after the uninstallation has fisnihed: i rebooted the laptop.
c) I started the uninstalleation tool for F-Secure IS.
d) after the removal tool has finished successfully i rebooted the laptop.
e) i started the installation of Kasperky IS 2017
Should i now run the uninstaller for F-Secure (see POST #05) once again in Safe Mode (see POST #06) ?

i searched my laptop for the file, that caused the BSOD (embda64.sys): the search results are attached
to this post (see screenshot: 'search_results_SYSNATIVE_embda64_sys.jpg').
I'm using this TV stick to watch TV/listen to radio on my laptop:
TerraTec Cinergy HTC Stick HD
This stick has been discontinued by manufacturer. The BSOD occured while the TV/Radio stick was in use (i was watching TV).
So i will reinstall the Terratec software/drivers as soon as possible and i then i also will update the driver "embda64.sys".

thx a lot and greets from Germany !
____EDIT_______
I purchased a RAM upgrade (4 GB RAM) for this laptop. The additional modules were recommended
and upgraded by the online shop. It's a well known online hardware shop in Germany with a very good reputation
