So recently my laptop's been acting VERY strangely. Every time I start it up, the disk usage shoots up to 100% (according to the task manager anyway), and for a duration that can last up to as long as 4 hours everything reacts at an extremely slow pace until it all clears up by itself (at least, until I switch the computer off and on, then it's back to the waiting game). In an attempt to pinpoint the problem, I've already tried defragging the system as well as turning off any unnecessary startup services in failed attempts to remedy the issue, and now I've moved on to using the SFC method, using SFCFix included.
Here's the log that it threw up. One thing worth noting however was that I ran the program 3 times to be thorough, and every time the progress abruptly stops at 88.2%, which certainly doesn't seem natural. I'll let the experts handle this...
