[Win10V1511Build10586.420] Can't repair and then update win10 image

I'm having issues to update my windows 10. I'm stuck in version 1511 OS build 10586.420. Every time I try to update, it takes ages and when it is at 98%, something happens and it starts undoing changes. This process can take hours. I can't figure out why it can't finish. I already tried all possible solutions. Please find below what I already tried:

1. Ran sfc /scannow and it didn't find any integrity violations.
2. Ran dism /scannow and it says the component store is repairable.
3. Ran dism /restorehealth but it can't find sources. Then I downloaded the windows 10 iso, mounted and used it as the source in the dism, but the folders and files that are corrupted are not in the winsxs folder and it says it can't find the sources.
4. Tried to locate the iso\update in the microsoft catalog that is showing in the folder name of the corrupted files: 10.0.10586.672 and it doesn't find anything.
