Gentlemen,
I had excellent experiences with your assistance approx. 4 years ago with a SONY Vaio notebook, which I just upgraded to a DELL XPS13. Without your help, it would have been impossible to resolve my problems with the SONY.
I need your help this time around, as well, much to my surprise, as I bought the #1 rated Ultrabook with just about the full spec.
All of my software was freshly installed and all the data was transferred to the DELL via a USB flash drive.
I've had 14 BSOD's in the past two days, primarily while transferring data to the new unit. Please see the attached files, as you recommended, and hopefully you will be able to detect what the problem(s) may be.
I am under the gun with this as I will be traveling to Africa on a business trip in 2 weeks, and I can't take the SONY, as it is too unstable, and I can't afford the DELL to fail.
The following are the questions you asked:
· OS - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ? Windows 10 Pro
· x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
· What was original installed OS on system? The same one that is in the system now
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? Came installed on the system
· Age of system (hardware) I've had it for 4 days and it seems to have been assembled in January 2017, although reconfired per my order
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Not sure when installed, but it is the original installation.
· CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7560U CPU @ 2.40GHz, 2401 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
· Video Card Intel(R) Iris(TM) Plus Graphics 640
· MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop) Laptop
· Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one) Laptop
· System Manufacturer DELL
· Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom XPS13 MLK (9360)
· Laptop or Desktop? Laptop
As always, your help is greatly appreciated. Please let me know of other information I should send you.
Thanks.
