[SOLVED] [Win10Build10586 x64] update to Build 1607 does not work - Error 0x800f081f

Hi,
the update from WIN 10 version 1511 to 1607 does not work.
The udpate starts, and during one of the reboots the system hangs up.
After Fehler: 0x800f081f
Die Quelldateien wurden nicht gefunden.
Geben Sie mit der Option „Quelle“ den Ort der Dateien an, die zum Wiederherstellen des Features erforderlich sind. Weitere Informationen zum Angeben eines Quellorts finden Sie unter „MSN.com - Hotmail, Outlook, Skype, Bing, Latest News, Photos & Videos.
Die DISM-Protokolldatei befindet sich unter „C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log“.starting the notebook teice again, the system recovers back to version 1511.
I've tried already
  • sfc /scannow
  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:esd:D:\sources\install.esd:1 /limitaccess
    ends with:

Step#1 - SFCFix Script
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please

OK, let's try the upgrade following the steps below.

1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
2. Accept the License Agreement
3. Keep the default Upgrade this PC option and click Next.
4. Let this process complete the upgrade to the newest build and let me know when complete.

If the upgrade fails, please zip/attach the following files (if they exist).

Retrieve System Information
1. Download Speccy to your desktop. The setup file will be named spsetup130.exe or something similar.
2. Double-click on this file and install it. Note: Please ensure that you uncheck any foistware that may be presented during the install (i.e. Chrome Browser install).
3. When the program opens it will retrieve some information regarding your system.
4. Once it's done, select the File menu and choose Publish snapshot. Answer Yes to the confirmation message.
5. On the next screen that comes up, choose the Copy to Clipboard button and paste this link in your next reply.
 
OK, please do the following.

1. Uninstall any Antivirus that you have. If it's a paid version, make sure you have any serial/registration info so you can re-install once upgraded.
2. Remove or disconnect any extra hard drives from the computer with the exception of the boot drive. This includes any removable USB drives and any accessories that are plugged in (i.e. Printers/Scanners/Cameras)
3. Create a new user on the machine and add this user to the Administrators group.
4. Sign in with this new user.
5. Perform a clean boot following the instructions at the link below.

6. Start the Windows 10 Ugprade. When it gets to the point where you can click Next to do the install, first disable both the wireless and wired network adapters.
7. Do the Upgrade

  • I have a drive Q which is on my hard disc (where C: is located). It is a recovery drive from lenovo. Do I have to remove/disconnect this drive? If yes, how?
  • Do I have to disconnect all my netwotk drives? Or will this be done more or less automatically by disconnecting from LAN/WLAN?
  • After the clean boot: Should I start the upgrade again by the media creation tool?

I've created the new account, deleted Norton and processed the cleanboot steps from microsoft.
Start of mediacreationtool is not possible, error 0x800706D9 - 0x20000
I'm afraid I have no internet connection/access in this environment
 
I've enabled all sevices and autostart programs, and rebootet.
Should I try the upgrade from the new admin user without the clean boot steps, i.e. letting Norton uninstalled?

Yes please do. If it fails, please do the following.

1. Right-Click your start button and choose Command Prompt (Admin)
2. Answer Yes to the UAC prompt if it appears.
3. Copy/Paste the following into the command-prompt window and hit enter.
