Dear,

I have problems updating win10

DISM says 'de configuratieregisterdatabase is beschadigd' (sorry, I have a dutch version :-) )

SFCFix stops after DISM

I have mounted the install.wim from a win10 iso with DISM and ran DISM restorehealth on this image
Can I now replace my components file with the one in the image?

  1. Download COMPONENTS.ZIP and save to your desktop.

By the way, did you replace the COMPONENTS hive as instructed?

hi,

yes, did that
I have done a few updates (still 1703) with a few crashes, hanging, blue screens but at last they succeeded
When i tried to update to 1803 everything went wrong: hanging, blue screen (stop code clock watchdog timeout) and unable to restart the computer
(error 'unknown hard error' by sihost.exe). Sometimes I get a very reduced desktop that disappears after a few seconds, black screen with only a cursor...
After a few hours of trying I managed to get to the task manager with ctrl-shift-esc and could shutdown the computer. By the next startup the previous version of windows was replaced. oef
Tried again the update. Everything fine until 75%, then 5 times restart and again previous version....
what can I try next?

regards,
Koen

Step#1 - FRST Scan

1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
3. Please ensure you place a check mark in the Addition.txt check box at the bottom of the form before running (if not already).
4. Press Scan button.
5. It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should now be the desktop)
6. Please attach the log back here.
7. Another log (Addition.txt - also located in the same directory as FRST64.exe) will be generated Please also attach that along with the FRST.txt in your reply.

The user has decided to remove cracked software and informed me via PM, so I'm reopening this thread.

Please provide a fresh set of FRST logs so I can verify that KMS has really been removed. Thank you.

Good night!

trying to update to 1709 from cd fails after 75% (black screen, had to turn computer off/on) with error code 0xC1900101-0x40017 in fase SECOND_BOOT
