Hello everybody,

my notebook's facing serious troubles with latency issues, which are shown mostly by audio cracks but also by video stuttering.

A short history on the error: Until April 2020 the notebooks OS was Win7 and the error never occured. Once I upgraded the OS to Win10 the issue started occuring from the very first moment on. When I switched the OS I also changed the second (not main) harddrive from HDD to SSD.

Since then I spent many hours online to find a solution for this issue and tried many things, which I will sum up briefly:

- All drivers are up to date
- BIOS is up to date
- LatencyMon indentifies problems with ndis.sys
- Already tried to solve the issues by switching adapters and other devices on and off via try and error
- Once the notebook has no working wifi-connection, the issues gets somewhat better
- I turned off CPU throttling
- I also turned off the power savings mode of the wifi-adapter

Please find the information and data provided in the following links:

I'm pretty lost right now since the issue is still occuring... Please help me guys.

Cheers

Mike

  • Update windows to the latest version.
And test it for a day (or two).
  • If previous point didn't change anything: create a system restore point, create a system image, backup your important files.
  • Download (don't install) http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/425.31/425.31-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe
    Uninstall everything from nvidia.
    Install the driver only.
And test it for a day (or two).

How to install the driver only? An example:
