Hi!

I cannot install the latest win 10 update (KB3147458).
Some other users have the same problem.
However i ran dism which repaired my system image successfully.
But sfc fails at 47%.
I attached my logs.
thanks you!

Hi shm0 :)

My name is Aura and I'll be assisting you with your issue. Follow the instructions below please.

DISM - Fixing Component Store Corruption
Follow the instructions below to run a DISM operation on your system.
  • On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • On Windows 8.1, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • Enter the command below and press on Enter;
    Code:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  • Let the scan run until the end (100%). Depending on your system, it can take some time;
  • Copy the C:\Windows\Logs\DISM folder and C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log file on your Desktop, then right-click on it, go to Send to... and select Compressed .zip archive;
  • Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;
Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the DISM scan is completed, it won't contains the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.

Hi Aura!

Thanks for your help!

I already done those steps. I attached my cbs.log in the first post.

I know, however I do not see a DISM output in your CBS.log, so it was probably overwritten by the time you uploaded it. Hence why I'm asking you to run it again and upload the new logs (CBS and DISM) right after the scan :)

It looks like a lot of files were fixed in that DISM run. Please run it again and upload the new CBS and DISM logs. I'll see if the same files gets fixed again.

Hmm.
dism gives the error that it couldnt find the source files.
I tried to specify the source manually with /Source:wim:E:\sources\install.wim:1 /limitaccess
But then dism gives error 87.
I attached the log anyway.

Sadly your DISM keeps on repairing the same files over and over again. And quite a lot of them. So many that it can't list all of them. The fastest option to fix this issue would be to run a Repair Install of your Windows 10.

No problem :) Sorry that I couldn't of more help!
