[SOLVED] [Win10] DISM hangs at 40%

Hello folks,

I've had some issues with my Windows 10 system - notably the start button stopping working.

I ran a sfc /scannow and it found issues it couldn't fix, then I ran the SFCfix tool.

This got stuck with DISM hanging at 40% - which seems to be a common problem.

Here is my CBS log. It would be great if someone could have a look and give me some advice.

You are not on the most current build of Windows 10. The Windows 10 Creators update fixes the start button issues as well. Please do the following.

1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
2. Accept the License Agreement
3. Keep the default Upgrade this PC option and click Next.
4. Let this process complete the upgrade to the newest build and let me know when complete.

I actually wiped the HD and re-installed the operating system, so hopefully it will be now.
