Hi!

I have a problem with changing resolution.
My notebook (x230t) have a intel hd graphics 4000. (fully updated via device manager)

But I can't change resolution. When I go under display settings -> advanced, I set my new resolution value and one second later it changes back to old value (without confirming it)
I see also that the option field flickers. And the same situation is with intel hd graphics control.

I've uploaded a video about the behavior View attachment error.zip .. maybe it helps to understand it.

Does someone have ideas?

Thank you

found a workaround .. under display adapters -> List all Modes -> I can configure different resolutions with frames.

Never update device driver from Microsoft as those device drivers mostly not latest device drivers.
Download the Intel HD Graphics 4000 for 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors driver
Your LCD display screen flickers when you select incorrect refresh rate for the LCD monitor or corrupted graphic controller driver.
Found out what is the LCD native resolution and set the Windows to LCD monitor native resolution any higher the fonts and images will be blurry and everything will generally look lower-quality and less-sharp.
Windows select a resolution recommended for your monitor (this is your monitor’s native resolution).
