[SOLVED] Win 7 x64 - KB4516065 and KB4516048 failed

Hi all,

I am having issues trying to install KB4516065 and KB4516048.

I ran SFC /scannow which found some errors, rebooted then done it again now its saying its fine.

Have tried reinstalling the failing updates which still keep throwing up 80092004 error.

I had a look on the microsoft website in regards to the two above updates and either I already have pre reqs installed or the updates simply won't install.

I have also installed and run SURT prior to all the above and still having no luck.

Have also turned win updates off and renammed the softwaredistrbution folder cleared out old windows update junk and still having no luck.

I am at about 6hrs trying to solve this and its getting on my nerves now.

Thanks for the quick reply. That solved the issue, this update you linked me to how come it wasn't showing on windows update or wasn't already one to be auto installed?

This one had to be manually installed.
