Greets!

Windows 7 Ultimate pc stopped booting. Blue screen produces Stop:0x7E for MVS91xx.sys
User installed 2nd hard drive thereafter and put Win 7 Ult on it too.
Bad OS drive remains in PC.
Selected boot log and that does not get written to windows\ntbtlog.txt.

Ideas on fixing this?
(Have exhausted all normal repair ideas, including booting from DVD and running repair. Cannot boot into any form of Safe Mode either.)

and thanks in advance!

If you remove the new drive can you run a start up repair or open the recovery console and try using a restore point?

You could try doing a upgrade install, if the install sees a windows installation on the drive it will preserve installed program and settings.
