WIN 7 - slmgr - "ActiveX component can't create object" error (code 800A01AD)

Hi,

I extended the trial mode of my Windows 7 by the well known command slmgr /rearm. I doubt that it might be related to this, however slmgr ceased to respond correctly a couple of weeks ago. A simple slmgr /dlv or even slmgr alone produces such an output :
Code:
activex component can't create object 'scripting.dictionary'
Capture_slmgr.png
The re-registration of scrrun.dll
Code:
regsvr32 scrrun.dll
did not help.

I may have messed up things by reseting rights in the register, trying to solve the epic trouble I recently had with Windows Update. I do not feel confident enough to try more fixes without additional advice from someone of the forum here. In case it helps, I attach the output of the System File Checker tool.
