Win 7 Event ID 0x81000019 Unable to complete scheduled backup

I installed a new SSD last week and after installing all windows updates ran a back up & disk image. Today the automatic backup to my external hard drive failed error Event ID 0x81000019. The drive has 905 GB of free space can you please help?

When you installed the SSD, how did you set up any partitions? Did you keep the small "System Reserved Partition"? Is the SSD now your boot drive?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. When I set up the new SSD it was a clean install. I did not partition the drive windows did. Since posting the error I have installed WD My Book Smart Ware and backed up successfully. I have an internal unallocated drive which I ran a windows back up of C: and created a system image. No further errors reported in Event Viewer. So for the moment all is well.
