I was helped so when a different update problem cropped up here I am again. Windows update on win 10 pc. Looks like it will not update defender with error 0x80070643. These are the updates failing. I don't see any errors in the log files. I did try and reset .net with the repair too and yielded no change Update for Microsoft Defender antimalware platform (KB4052623) Attachments CBS.log 1.9 MB · Views: 3 SFCFix.txt 946 bytes · Views: 2

Code: cd %ProgramFiles%\Windows Defender MpCmdRun.exe -removedefinitions -dynamicsignatures MpCmdRun.exe -SignatureUpdate Let me know if it says it was successful or if there are any errors. Or take a screenshot of the command prompt window and paste it into your next reply.
