Win 10 KB5032189 fails (2023-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2) - also get uncorrectable SFC/DISM errors

Hi,


I have done a clean install a Win 10 Enterprise IOT 21H2 LTSC and got Error code: (0x80073712)
when it came to the cumulative update. It keeps retrying the update and fails at 99% at the reboot/update progress screen.

I also am getting errors in the SFC and DISM commands where it says it cannot fix the errors it found.


Attached are the log files and CBS zipped folder. I did a system restore and got rid of older copies of the CBS.log file.

Step 1. Download

SFCFix and save it to your desktop.

Warning: This fix was written specifically for this system. Do not run this fix on another system.

• Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
• Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
• Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

• SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
• Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
• Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.

DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth
