[SOLVED] Win 10 Enterprise / can't install .net Framework

Hi All,

while trying to install .net 4.7 on a fresh Win 10 Enterprise machine there is a message: this OS is not supported.

Any idea?

What is your Windows build number? It appears that it only supported on the following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2016 (x64)
• Windows Server 2012 R2 (x64)
• Windows Server 2012 (x64)
• Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (x64)
• Windows 10 Version 1607 (x86 and x64)
• Windows 8.1 (x86 and x64)
• Windows 7 SP1 (x86 and x64)

Thank you very much, that's the point. I'm sooo stupid, I incidently used a prehistoric ISO file... :-(

Have you installed all the other available Windows Updates? It should update your Windows version.

With the build in update function widows does only the security updates but keeps the build number on the old status (2015 something). The MS update assistant has done the job. Everything is working fine now and I would mark the thread as "solved" now if I knew how.

Thanks for letting us know, I've marked the thread as solved for you. You should have an option though called edit thread?
