Hello Everyone, new user here. After running scfscan /scannow and finding the corruption with the CNBJ2530.dpb file, I ran SCFix. This is theoutput I got:

No idea what to do from here.

Thanks!

Ok, so now I can run SFC without it recording any errors. There does not seem to be a problem with my system; I can receive and install updates. However,
DISM is still reporting that my component store is corrupted, and the error given when I used the /restorehealth command is as follows:

Error: 0x800f0906

The source files could not be downloaded.
Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required t
o restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see
Configure a Windows Repair Source.

any ideas?

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Can you upload your CBS folder for us?

Export CBS folder

  1. Browse to the folder C:\Windows\Logs
  2. Right-click on the CBS folder, and select Copy.
  3. Go back to your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Paste. You should now see a copy of the CBS folder appear on your Desktop called CBS.
  4. Right-click on this new folder, and navigate through Send to, and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
  5. A new file, also called CBS (CBS.zip), but this time with a different icon, will be created.
  6. Attach this new file to your next post.

Hi,

Right then, here is why DISM is complaining:

Code:
(p) CSI Payload Corrupt wow64_microsoft-windows-ieframe_31bf3856ad364e35_11.0.9600.16412_none_72aad49cc582967f\wow64_ieframe.ptxml

Summary:
Operation: Detect only
Operation result: 0x0
Last Successful Step: CSI store detection completes.
Total Detected Corruption: 1
    CBS Manifest Corruption: 0
    CBS Metadata Corruption: 0
    CSI Manifest Corruption: 0
    CSI Metadata Corruption: 0
    CSI Payload Corruption: 1
Total Repaired Corruption: 0
    CBS Manifest Repaired: 0
    CSI Manifest Repaired: 0
    CSI Payload Repaired: 0
    CSI Store Metadata refreshed: True

Let's fix that up first, and we can go from there.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl + C) and Paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC Scan

  1. Press the Windows Key on your keyboard and X to open up the Power User Tasks Menu
  2. Click (or tap) Command Prompt (admin)
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue (approximately 15 minutes)

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt

  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

Stephen

Many thanks!

Sorry for the wait, I've been away.

The CBS file looks OK to me now. Does SFC still report corrupt files when you run it, and does DISM complete successfully now?

Stephen
