I know smart phones have apps that will do this, but I do not have an android-based phone. I may ask my girlfriend to use hers tonight after she gets home from work. Just some background: We had new neighbors move into our apartment building last week, and now my video streaming device is giving me a "Network is down" error message. At first, I thought it was the device itself that was failing, but upon further thought, I realized the problems started when the neighbors moved in. I have changed my frequency today to see if that helps, but it would be nice to know what frequency I can change to that no one around me is using. Is there software available for laptops to detect Wi-Fi frequencies?
