Unfortunately Olivia passed away, but this duet with Dolly is one of her last recordings and a part of the album: "The Duets Collection - Just The Two Of Us" which is released May last year.

If we're taking Fleetwood Mac, then I like every track in Rumours as well. (I see A Guy beat me to the draw on that one).

I aso like all the tracks on Love Over Gold by Dire Straits ....

.... favourite track being Telegraph Road, but favourite guitar riff being the spanish sounding one in Private Investigations.

Rumours is also a great album which I play from the A to B side, as well as their "Tusk" album.

I bought "Love Over Gold" as reissue on vinyl more than 10 years ago, and not long after that I found an original press in a thrift shop here along with their first album (1978) called Dire Straits...

Not only the sleeve of the old pressing looks better, it also sounds better...

Left (reissue), right (old Vertigo press / near mint)....

All my Dire Straits albums (I've got pretty much all of them), are on CD, so that I could play them in the car. When I worked as a field service engineer I spent the greater part of my time driving from job to job, so having something worth listening to was essential.

Telegraph Roads was a track I always seemed to listen to when driving back from Newcastle south on the A1. However, because of its tempo and the way it progresses, it does have a tendency to make you inadvertently speed up if you're not careful.
