[W8.1] Trying to install the update KB3000850, but I encounter the Error 800700A1

I am running Win 8.1, and i am trying to install the update KB3000850, but i encounter the Error 800700A1 when installing it.
Microsoft took control of my computer for 3 hours today and could find no solution. Any help anyone can offer? I have lost faith in them.
