Re: Cannot repair member file PINTLGT.IMD

Hello and welcome

Due to the precise nature of your corruption, you will receive help from a user named SleepyDude. He's one of our senior trainees here who's in his final phase of his studies and needs to gain some real world experience in specific areas of Windows Update. This means that he'll be assisting you, but that I will first need to double check and approve his fixes before he posts them to you. If anything this is a good thing for you because it means that you've got at least two of us watching over your thread, but it will unfortunately add a slight delay between each reply. I hope that you understand and can accept the need for us to train up new members in this way in order to carry on doing what we do here, however, if for any reason you object to this setup, I will happily take on your thread myself.

Thank you very much for your understanding. We'll be with you very shortly.

Re: Cannot repair member file PINTLGT.IMD

Hi John, nice to meet you.

First a warning... Please don't run any other fix's you found on this forum because they are created specifically for that particular user machine, will not work for others and most likely will cause problems...

Now lets do some fixing...

SFCFix Script

!!! WARNING !!! The following fix is only relevant for this system and no other, applying this fix on another computer will not work and most likely will cause problems...

  • Download SFCFix.exe (by Niemiro) and save it to the Desktop
  • Download the file SFCFIX.zip and save this to your Desktop
  • On your Desktop, make sure you have the two files:
    myjIXnC.png
    SFCFix.exe and
    sfpcJCen14An3ndjNGCI7mByhjHJud.png
    SFCFIX.zip
  • Drag the file SFCFIX.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it
  • The SFCFix tool will process the script
  • Upon completion, a log file SFCFix.txt should be created on your Desktop
  • Open the SFCFix.txt log and copy & paste the contents to your post

Re: Cannot repair member file PINTLGT.IMD

My game "Total War: Arena", again crashed. And Windows again pop up an message error like "[FONT=Consolas, Monaco, Andale Mono, DejaVu Sans Mono, monospace]Instruction at 0x000 referenced memory at 0x000. The memory could not be read."

I did sfc /scannow, but all files was repaired.

But in sfcdetails I found again the same problem: "
[/FONT]Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"PINTLGT.IMD""[FONT=Consolas, Monaco, Andale Mono, DejaVu Sans Mono, monospace]

Can you help me?

Re: Cannot repair member file PINTLGT.IMD

Hi,

The PINTLGT.IMD file was fixed according to the last scan log, the problem is with another file, something I have to discuss with my Teacher.

I would like to see a list of updates installed on your machine please do this:

  • open the Command Prompt as Administrator (Tutorial)
  • type or Copy & Paste the command:
    Code:
wmic qfe list brief /format:texttablewsys >"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\WinUpdates.txt"
  • Attach to your post the file WinUpdates.txt created on the Desktop

Re: Cannot repair member file PINTLGT.IMD

I didnt done updates. But earlier everything was working fine.
I will try update now.
But I dont know what exactly should I update. There is a lot update to choose.

Re: Cannot repair member file PINTLGT.IMD

Please wait, don't install updates until we solve the problem detected.

I was fighting with this all night. In logs now everything looks ok I guess, but my game crashes all the time with the same error: "Instruction at 0x000 referenced memory at 0x000. The memory could not be read."
I even did a mem test and it was ok.

I couldn't upload CBS folder in here, becouse its too big now(36MB).

That is something we can try to check latter.

Please upload the file to a service like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. or upload to SendSpace and just provide the link for the file here.

Here's the CBS folder: CBS.zip - Google Drive

Yesterday I was updating Windows before You tell me not to do this. And then I was uninstall those updates and use System Restore point. Maybe thats why this folder is bigger now.

Hi,

The Windows Update/Servicing corruption is fixed however there may be a bug with the game and you should contact the game creator.

But I dont know what exactly should I update. There is a lot update to choose.

You should update Windows at least by installing all the Security Updates, the list of updates will include Security Monthly Quality Rollups and Security Only Quality Update select the second if you are only concerned with security and don't need additional fixes...
