Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install Service Pack 1 on Windows 7 Home Premium, but it fails with 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND.
My father installed polish language pack and probably that is the reason why update fails. I've changed language back to en-US:
I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.View attachment 21672View attachment 21673
I'm trying to install Service Pack 1 on Windows 7 Home Premium, but it fails with 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND.
My father installed polish language pack and probably that is the reason why update fails. I've changed language back to en-US:
- bcdedit /set {current} locale en-US
- bcdboot %WinDir% /l en-US
- Deleted registry folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MUI\UILanguages\pl-PL
- Rebooted
- sfc /scannow
- Reset Windows Update components - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058
- System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) - Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014] from Official Microsoft Download Center
- dism /online /remove-package /packagenameackage_for_KB976932~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.1.17514
- Downloaded SP1 - Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) from Official Microsoft Download Center
I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.View attachment 21672View attachment 21673
