Hello there.

From time to time I have small micro stutterings (in the same time audio freeze). These are very frustrating and I don't know why. My PC is brand new (~2 weeks of usage).

I made a CPU.etl: Dropbox - CPU.etl

Some screenshots from LatencyMon: https://i.imgur.com/9CjtAvz.png https://i.imgur.com/4AknZmp.png

My computer specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700x 3.4GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB 256-bit [reference card]
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AX370-Gaming K3 (running latest BIOS version - F5a)
RAM: ADATA XPG Z1 16GB 3000MHz (AX4U300038G16-DGZ)
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO M.2 250GB (MZ-V6E250BW running on latest firmware - 2B7QCXE7)
HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB (ST1000DM010 running on latest firmware - CC43)
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (Creators Update - OS Build 15063.608)

I would like to mention the fact that I have latest drivers installed, especially version 2.2.0.1703 for "SAMSUNG NVMe Controller" driver, version 1.3.1.276 for "AMD SATA Controller" driver and AMD Chipset Drivers 17.30 installed.

Any help would be highly appreciated and I can provide other files if necessary.

Thank you in advance!

Re: [W10ProV1703b15063 x64] DPC latency caused by storport.sys

I think I found out the culprit.

I don't need a "AMD SATA Controller" driver.

System seems to work perfectly without it!

Maybe the driver is not designed for AM4 platform.

There's no AHCI driver for W10 inside
AMD Chipset Drivers 17.30 package.

I think I installed accidentally the driver using 3rd party software.

Can't believe I was so dumb and the issue was caused by me.
:banghead:

Thank you anyway, guys! :lolg:
