I'm thinking of doing a clean windows 10 install this weekend, but I can't figure out, how I would get Windows 10 Start Menu to way I have it now. I have clean install on a spare drive, and when I got into windows. The first thing I noticed, was the way the way the Start Menu is laid out.

Below is basically what I see, on a fresh install.

Below this line, is the way I have my start menu laid out on my main boot drive. I don't recall, how I got it this way at all...

Re: Windows 10 Start Menu

Put the mouse pointer to the right edge of the menu, the pointer should change, click and drag it to the left, release the mouse button, done.
To add the apps to the "tile menu", right-click the app and click pin to start.

Re: Windows 10 Start Menu

;)

Today, after days of searches and tries, I finally solved the problem of my display.
I had the windows 10 boundaries/edges/borders beyond my display screen/frame (i.e., the mouse pointer became invisible near the borders, like other objects; example: the x in the right-upper corner of every windows, when maximized).
Previously with intel graphics properties I had an advanced menu in which I could have changed horizontal and vertical scaling, and move the entire windows frame on left/right/up/down.
With amd radeon crimson (radeon settings), those options don't exist (at least, for a VGA connection?).
I tried to install older drivers, to change strange settings, to install the catalyst version, but nothing helped.
Well, the very simple solution (once you know it) was to press the power button of the monitor for five seconds (or more) and then release it.
To my surprise :eek2:, the screen adjusted itself on its own.
