OK. It's been a month here with no reply. Windows wanted to do it's thing again. Third month in a row that Windows Update has failed to complete the feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2, yet again with code 0xc1900101.
Ends with a BSOD each time.
Does this need to be put into the BSOD area of the forums, or should I continue here? For the moment, I'll continue here and give the latest results from following the posting instructions now.
"sfc /scannow" terminates with "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." Moving on to step #3.
"Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" terminates with "The operation completed successfully." Moving on to step #4.
Downloading and running SFCFix only took a few seconds, maybe a minute at most. (The log will show a few minutes, but that's because I didn't close the program to get the log file until I had added to this post.) The summary shows all 0s. Here's the log:
