[SOLVED] W10 21H2: You're not up to date

Hello,

Absolutely stumped as to why my system does not proceed with the updating process, does not error out but just continues to display "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes."

I have tried the following so far:
The only current issues I can see with CBS are:
2024-01-15 05:22:44, Info CBS InternalOpenPackage failed for Package_for_KB3025096~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.4.1.0 [HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE]
2024-01-15 05:22:44, Info CBS Failed to internally open package. [HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE]
2024-01-15 05:22:44, Info CBS Failed to create open package. [HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE]
2024-01-15 05:22:44, Info CBS Failed to OpenPackage using worker session [HRESULT = 0x800f0805]

(This makes no sense as KB3025096 was an old Technical Preview update?)
Nothing stands out in WindowsUpdate.log.

Any help is appreciated on this one, please let me know if you need any further information.

Cheers,

Hi Gary,

My apologies, I forgot that I had local GPO set that limited my my feature version to 21H2 - I have removed this and we are good to go (another user pointed this out as a potential issue in a PM to me)

Thanks for your help on this one.

Cheers,

OK thanks for letting me know. Glad to hear your problem is resolved.
